About Us

Hazelwood Central Robohawks formed in 2006 through the efforts of a devoted group of mentors and students. The initial FRC team contained approximately 20 students. The Robohawks currently have about 30 active members and are continuing to grow and represent FIRST in St. Louis.

Our Mission Statement

The mission of the Robohawks is to help young people develop a better knowledge of engineering, math, science, programming and business. The team provides opportunities for students to make career decisions and develop leadership skills.  Our mentors help students develop problem solving skills and provide a supportive atmosphere in which to learn. The team strives to include and mentor all students who wish to put forth the effort to learn.
